NYFW DAY 02

My day starts at 8:30AM with me heading over to Dunkin Donuts to get some orange juice and two bottles of water, while I waited for the bus. I had spent Thursday night in New Brunswick at my aunt’s and would be here until tomorrow morning. The bus ride from New Brunswick to Manhattan was only about an hour and maybe fifteen minutes.

While standing outside of the bus station, I found out that I had bought a bus pass (while I was home in Maryland) to depart from the a different location in New Brunswick and not at the location I was currently standing at. However, the drivers were kind enough to honor my ticket and put me on the 9:05 bus to Manhattan.

On me I carried, the Sony A7riii (I swear i’m in love with this rental) with a 70-200M F/4 OSS G Master Lens (also rented) , my 50M F/1.8 OSS Sony Lens, and a monopod (also rented). I had brought the monopod and 70-200M with the intention of using them as I worked as media for the Style Fashion Week Shows tonight (you can read my opinion on Style Fashion Week here). But an thirty minutes into the bus ride, I found out I would be covering the Michael Costello on behalf of Allyn Lewis, author at The Gem so I didn’t really need the monopod. I did however, end up using the 70-200M a lot for street style work and throughout the day.

#OOTD

Today I wore a yellow mustard turtleneck underneath a grey based checker pant suit, paired with navy faux leather crocodile patterned Chelsea boots, with a pair of long gold studded ball earrings with hoops, clear frames, and S shaped letter necklace.

When I got into the city I ended up meeting up with Sakiyna and her friends, Drea , Chay and San . We attended the SAKS It List House & Kate Spade Presentation, before heading to get lunch at BLK SQ Pizza. I ended up not eating because the traffic began to get heavy and I wanted to get a good seat at the Michael Costello show.

While outside of Spring Studios, I had fun taking some street style photography and even ended up getting stopped by two of TRESemmé’s photographers for photos after the Costello show.

I ended up slipping out of my boots into a pair of emerald green bow slips, by A New Day, for more comfort. It’s about 7PM, and I was heading back to BLK SQ Pizza to finally get some food. The restaurant was so relaxing, the staff was very pleasant and the service was amazing! (FIVE STARS I’M COMING BACK!!)

After sitting down and eating my first meal of the day, I decided to skip my last show in Times Square and instead began to transfer the files between the camera and my phone. I ended up heading back to New Brunswick around 10pm and stayed up until a little past 1AM editing photos, and updating my IG Highlights before turning off my phone to go to sleep.
